How much does a physical therapist visit cost?
Evaluation and initial treatment (1 hour) = $180
30 minute visit: $70
60 minute visit: $140
(15 minutes of treatment: $35)
How can I Pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cash and Checks.
All payments are due at the time of service.
What Insurance Do You Take?
We are “Out of Network” for all insurances except for Tricare and Medicare. We are an approved provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
What does that mean?
We charge a flat fee for service. We do not bill your insurance, which allows us to charge a realistic price (approximately ½ to 2/3 of the local area charged price for Physical Therapy). We do this because there are many people with high deductibles or no insurance that need advanced Physical Therapy services. We think that those people should get the care they need at a reasonable price. Insurance companies dictate to Physical Therapy clinics about what they will cover and how much they will pay. Health Insurance does not equal Health Care, and we think you deserve a better option.
What if you have insurance?
Call your insurance to check for your ‘out of network’ benefits prior to your first visit if you plan on submitting your claims to your insurance company. Some insurance companies have separate ‘in network’ and ‘out of network’ deductibles.
You will also want to check if your specific diagnosis is covered by your insurance.
After each visit you will be sent a receipt with all of the necessary information you need to submit for reimbursement.
How do I get reimbursed?
Check out your policy. We will provide you with any paperwork and the proper codes necessary, but you will need to send it in. The insurance company will pay you directly any money. They must not pay us as you have already done that, and we don’t need to get paid twice for the same service!
What about Medicare and Tricare?
We will bill Medicare and Tricare. Any co-pays will be billed to you in accordance with the insurance policy.
Cancellation/No Show Fee
There will be a $50 fee applied if a visit is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or if a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment.
Entropy Physiotherapy offers remote and in person consultations.
Consultations are perfect for those times when you can’t come into the office, or you just have some questions or concerns you’d like to discuss with a qualified medical professional. These consultations are not meant to take the place of medical visits or in-person PT, but rather offer the time and space to ask your questions that traditional medical visits may not allow due to time restrictions.
We can accommodate consults in person, on the phone, or via Skype, Google Hangout or FaceTime.
1) Choose the length of the consult that you would like here.
2) You will be contacted by Sarah or Sandy (whomever you would like to meet with) to schedule the time of your consultation.
