October 10-11, 2015
Come join Adam Meakins, BSc (hon) MCSP SRP, to explore what you think you know about shoulders…
This two day course is designed for all therapists who work with shoulder problems that want a simple, practical and evidenced based look at what does and doesn’t work in the assessment and treatment of shoulder pains and pathology.
It will explore what the current research is telling us and how we can simply and effectively integrate this into clinical practice. It will also highlight some common myths and misunderstanding that surround shoulder diagnosis and management and help explain why shoulder rehab can and often does fail.
The course is designed to be highly practical, slightly controversial at times but fun and full of handy helpful hints and tips that you can put into practice immediately, it however does NOT promise quick fixes or miracle manual techniques
The Illinois Chapter Continuing Education Committee has certified that this course meets the criteria for approval of Continuing Education offerings established by The Illinois Physical Therapy Association for 12 hours.
